Fully funded scholarships cover tuition and living costs, but deadlines come early. Here's a plan that starts six months before.
Month 1: Choose your targets
Make a list of 6–8 programmes. Note for each one: the deadline, the language test it needs and the documents it asks for.
Month 2: Language test
Book IELTS or TOEFL early, so you have time to retake it. Most programmes ask for IELTS 6.5 or higher.
Month 3: Motivation letter
Write one strong base letter, then tailor it for each programme. Tell one concrete story that shows why you, why this field and why now.
Month 4: Recommendation letters
Ask two professors or managers who know your work. Give them your CV, the deadline and two or three points you'd like them to mention.
Month 5: Polish and submit
Check every document against each programme's list. Submit at least a week before the deadline, because websites often slow down at the last minute.
Month 6: Interviews
Some programmes interview shortlisted students. Practise explaining your study plan in two minutes.
